IWATA HP-CS Eclipse AIRBRUSH/COMPRESSOR-Createx Paint

Bought this kit as a beginner looking for a good kit to start out with. Excellent value for what you get, everything that you need to start painting right out of the box. The Iwata HP-CS allows you very nice control with your airbrush, and leaves you with no problems. Compressor is alot quieter than I had expected and very easy to control. The video that comes with this kit is very helpful as well, I would recommend you to watch the video first if you are just beginning to show you all the basics, from the different types of paint, spray patterns, and different surfaces that you can paint on etc. Have no complaints, Amazon was fast with shipping and was the best price I could find. Would definitely recommend this kit to anyone looking to air brush just about anything. Awesome!!

I have now purchased all the colors. I have been trying various color systems for over 15 years and with the Copics have finally found the system I love. They have a learning curve but with YouTube videos it does not take long to learn how to use them - you need to use the right ink if you are stamping and the right paper - the paper makes a real difference on how easy they are to use. They seem expensive but I have purchased so many markers that are not refillable and you can not replace the nib on them that I see these as a lifetime investment. Potter's Pottery Wheel By Brent Has The Strength And Features Of Larger Potter's Wheels And Includes Splash Pan

I've been using Brent wheels for years. I've left this one out in the snow this past winter because of space constraints. It is working great and the electronics all seem sound and well sealed. I've had to take it apart to tinker with the pedal speed and found it very easy to work on. In my opinion (based on 25 years of throwing on the wheel) Brent wheels are only second in reliability to kick-wheels (and much less bulky!) It may seem like a spendy amount but you won't be sorry when you have a reliable tool that lasts years.

I went looking to buy the TB30. I actually liked the graphics and all the pretty lights. Hey, might as well have a "light show" while sewing kites! I ended-up buying the new re-packaged TB30: the DC4030. Oh, I lost some of the pretty lights along with the graphics, as the 4030 is just the TB30 in a "plain, brown wrapper." But, not one ounce of functionality or quality! It's all there and it's just GREAT! It even came with a hard case, something I wanted and was glad I didn't have to buy separately. I've sewn a good 12 different kinds of fabrics on it to date. Thanks to the adjustable pressure feet, whatever I've tossed at it, it's delivered top quality stitching right back at me. No errors, no goofs, no bound-up bobbins or stitches. Just great sewing. I call it, "Janome style" when it comes to the machine's stitch quality. The SFS may be a marketing whatever, but, I'm brutally honest when I state, SFS is reality! I've sewn on other Janome machines without SFS. There is just no comparison between a Janome SFS and a Janome non-SFS. Get the SFS, you won't be sorry. Bottom line: no complaints from me. Oh, here are the machines I compared before I purchased: Brother PC210 and PC420 and the SE400 (all looked good on paper with lots of great comments, but...sorry, Brother, your quality is still in question) and the Janome 1050 and 2150 (both of these machines are close in what they offer. However, less plastic in my machine, the better I like it and these had too much plastic...in the operating mechanism. That's not to say it's wrong to do that, Brother, Singer, and Janome have been doing it a long time. But, I'll pass). I also looked real closely at the Janome Memory Craft. But, some things can't be...on my budget! Endgame: My 4030 is poised, ready to create kites, curtains, etc. right next to my Janome Serger.

Smart buy, kid. Singer 301 and 201 machines also are built to higher standards of durability and precision engineering than almost anything else available today. The 301 with its aluminum body would be the obvious choice for a full-size portable. My gal's cast-iron gear-drive 201, which has for more than half a century been a favorite machine model among quilters and professional tailors, runs smooth as silk and never leaves its beautiful solid walnut cabinet.

Singer Curvy 8780 Computerized Sewing Machine

I sort of bought this machine on impulse. I have a 50 year old Singer, and a very simple and inexpensive Singer that I received new as a gift in 2004. I have become a more serious sewer but in the whole scheme of things, I'm still doing a lot of learning. I almost immediately regretted this purchase after reading reviews online. A lot of folks really dislike this machine. Being a relatively younger sewer, I think this modern design is actually extremely easy to use, but for someone who is used to doing things in the spirit of an older machine, this can be frustrating. At first I was overwhelmed and annoyed but now that I have watched some videos and learned about all of it's features, I am completely in love with this machine. You really have to adjust to the style of this machine. Singer really has made it more simple. Don't over think this machine. I MUST note that for whatever reason, the presser foot lever doesn't naturally have an up or down position... there is actually an in between. This machine will jam automatically if the lever is not in the down position. I actually had to read some complaints to figure this out. Now that I have that figured out, the machine sews like a dream. It is actually somewhat melodic when it sews. I received the extra presser foot package from HSN. Check out youtube to see the HSN demonstration to see what you can do with this machine and all of it's beautiful snap in presser feet. I'm still squirming with the excitement of the possibilities!
